Welcome to NARPed

NARPed is the development home of the NARPed website. The purpose of NARPed is to organize party-events that are strongly game and/or it related.

For more information on the software we are using (THIS website), read on. This also includes documentation on how to use Trac.

NARPed-ALP

The first version of the NARP site that is under development is the old version based on ALP (Autonomous Lan Party). It's possible the installer scripts has a few dents left. If you run into any problems, please create a new ticket for the issue so I can address it promptly.

NARPed

NARPed aims to be a complete package for organizing your NARPs, LAN-Parties and possible other mayhem related conventions. It's a fool proof system to set up organization for your party basics. Food, Drinks, Equipment, ... you (create) name it! Besides that, it also has some features to offer to your guests. It has an integrated point system that allows users to earn points over several NARPses. Integrated with google maps, you can easily spot a possible travel companion.

More technical information on how stuff works can be found on the NARPed Development Home?.

Trac

Trac is a minimalistic approach to web-based management of software projects. Its goal is to simplify effective tracking and handling of software issues, enhancements and overall progress.

All aspects of Trac have been designed with the single goal to help developers write great software while staying out of the way and imposing as little as possible on a team's established process and culture.

TracGuide is a good place to start.

Enjoy!
